• Ingeniero Agrónomo (1992. Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) y Doctor en Producción Animal (1997. UPM).
• Profesor de Producción Animal desde 1996 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas de la UPM.
• Docencia: Nutrición animal, sistemas de producción de vacuno lechero, diseño de experimentos y análisis de datos en producción animal.
• Investigación: Nutrición animal.
  • Determinación del valor nutritivo de ingredientes, establecimiento de nuevas recomendaciones nutricionales, influencia de la nutrición sobre la salud intestinal.
  • Investigador principal de dos proyectos del Ministerio de Economía y participante en otros 16 proyectos de financiación pública y 15 contratos con empresas.
